15 Months Onwards - 3 Years
Our toddler Montessori program will have an atmosphere of loving support and respect where children 15 to 30 months learn to care for themselves and to interact with one another. Special attention is given to language and motor skill development. Our activities include:
- Development of Language & Communication: Children absorb language around them very fast and they must be given maximum opportunities to expand their vocabulary, listening and conversation skills. Various activities such as naming, matching, sorting, painting, singing, music, and both one on one and group interaction help in enhancing their language and communication.
- Care of Self: Activities like dressing frames, washing hands, eating independently, and personal hygiene are some examples of how children learn to take care of themselves.
- Eye-hand Coordination: Various manipulative activities both large and fine help the children with eye-hand coordination and also indirectly with cognitive skills and logical reasoning. Large movements like walking, jumping, running, climbing, carrying objects etc. Fine movements involve the wrist and fingers, strengthening the pincer and tripod grip and activities for eye-hand coordination.
- Care of Environment: Activities like looking after plants, sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing etc. help children learn to take care of their environment easily.
- Art & Music: Children are exposed at their level to various forms of arts like crafts, drawing, rhymes, music, etc.
Age for Admission in Toddler Montessori Program: The child should be around 15 months at the time of admission. The child will remain in the Toddler Montessori Program until they graduate and move to the Pre-Primary Program.

The Montessori approach offers a vision of education as an aid to life. Its flexibility provides a matrix within which each child’s inner directives freely guide them toward wholesome growth.
The premise of the Montessori philosophy is that all children carry the person they will become within themselves. In order to fully develop physical, intellectual and spiritual potential, the child must have freedom – achieved through order and self-discipline.
The classroom environment is organized in an orderly, logical manner. Children choose work they are capable of doing and are free to work as long as they wish without interference from others.
This approach alleviates many discipline problems that might present in another type of environment. Additionally, the mixed ages provide opportunities for the younger children to emulate the older children’s more mature behaviour.
Choosing work
Montessori classrooms are prepared environments where children can freely respond to their natural tendency to work. The child’s innate passion for learning is encouraged through opportunities to engage in spontaneous, purposeful activities with the guidance of trained adults.
Through their work, children develop concentration and joyful self-discipline. Within an orderly framework, children progress at their rhythm and pace according to their individual capabilities. All children are given lessons on how to appropriately use materials within the Montessori environment and will begin to see school as a community where all learners live in harmony.

You can choose the number of hours you want to keep the child for after school day care program. Working parents need not worry about making separate arrangements once Montessori hours are done for their children. We accept children who are not enrolled with our Montessori program as well. However, we keep the numbers limited, so each child gets adequate attention. As you know our setup is like a home away from home where we have taken care of things from a child's perspective. We will provide the following facilities:
1) Help with serving the lunch which the child carries from home
2) Nap time
3) Homework assistance
4) Art and craft activities
5) Outdoor/Indoor playtime
Following is the tentative schedule each day.
